Is there a minimum load?
No. One couch is a job, one appliance is a job. There is no minimum and no trip charge for a small pickup.
How much does it cost?
Every job is quoted — there is no published rate card, because volume sets the number and a price list cannot know your volume. Text a photo and you will usually have a figure back within the hour.
How do I get a quote without an appointment?
Text a photo of the pile to (903) 275-0638. That is the fastest route by a distance and it is how most people do it.
Do you take refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners?
Yes. The collection stations do not — anything containing Freon is refused under Clean Air Act rules requiring certified refrigerant recovery before scrapping.
Do you take tires?
No. Hauling scrap tires in Texas requires TCEQ registration under 30 TAC §328.57, including manifests and a registration number displayed on the vehicle. A registered scrap tire facility is the right answer.
Do you take construction debris or do demolition?
No to both, and no dumpster rental or hazardous waste either. It is on the site up front rather than discovered at the kerb.
How long does an estate cleanout take?
Most single-family homes take one to two days. That assumes the family still needs to walk through and pull things out, and the schedule bends around that.
How long does a garage take?
A single-car garage is usually one to two hours. A two-car garage can run to half a day. A metal shop on acreage is measured in trailer loads rather than hours.
What areas do you cover?
Athens and 18 other towns across Henderson County and Cedar Creek Lake, plus Kemp in Kaufman County and Walton in Van Zandt. Furthest regular run is about 33 minutes.
Are you open on weekends?
Sometimes — it depends on that week's schedule. Weekdays are Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.. For a Saturday or Sunday, call and ask.
How do I pay?
Venmo, Zelle, check or cash. There is no card processing.
Do you donate or recycle anything?
Anything still genuinely usable goes to donation where that is possible, and clean metal goes to the scrap yard — its value is factored into the quote rather than pocketed quietly.
Will you sweep up afterwards?
Yes. That is where the site's headline comes from — a customer wrote it about her own shop before we ever put it on a page.
